Consultant Ophthalmologist

ASG Eye Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist to provide comprehensive eye care services and deliver advanced diagnostic and surgical treatments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of ophthalmic conditions while ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various eye conditions including refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disorders, and other ocular diseases
• Perform ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract, LASIK, and other specialized procedures (as per expertise)
• Conduct detailed eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and post-operative care plans
• Monitor patient progress and manage any complications or follow-up care
• Provide patient education on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options
• Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate medical records, surgical notes, and documentation
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality guidelines
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology and participate in training or academic activities
