Lab Technician

The Lab Technician will support sample collection, sample processing, diagnostic testing, laboratory documentation, quality control, equipment handling, and report coordination at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. This requires Diploma or Degree in Lab Technology preferred with 2–7 years of diagnostics, RMLT, lab operations, and testing experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples as per laboratory SOPs.
• Perform routine pathology, hematology, biochemistry, and clinical pathology tests as assigned.
• Verify patient details, sample type, and test request before processing.
• Maintain test records, sample registers, worksheets, equipment logs, and documentation.
• Support internal quality control and calibration-related activities.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, reception, sample collection, and reporting teams.
• Report abnormal findings, rejected samples, or technical issues to seniors promptly.
• Follow biosafety, infection control, PPE, and biomedical waste standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the laboratory work area.
• Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely laboratory support.
