Neuro Technician

The Neuro Technician will support neurology diagnostics, EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, patient preparation, equipment handling, report coordination, and neuro diagnostic documentation at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires graduate qualification in EMG or EEG with 1–3 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and related neuro diagnostic procedures.
• Explain procedure steps clearly and ensure patient comfort during testing.
• Assist neurologists and neurophysiology teams during diagnostic procedures.
• Operate or support neuro diagnostic equipment as per department protocol.
• Verify patient identity, investigation request, clinical history, and procedure instructions.
• Maintain patient records, test registers, equipment logs, and report coordination documents.
• Coordinate with neurologists, OPD, ICU, emergency, nursing, billing, and patient care teams.
• Report equipment issues, test quality concerns, or urgent findings to seniors promptly.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and neuro diagnostic documentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of neuro diagnostic room and equipment.
• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and professional communication.
• Ensure accurate, safe, and patient-friendly neuro diagnostic support.
