Endometriosis can only be diagnosed via laparoscopy with "visual inspection" unless the disease is visible in the vagina or elsewhere - but the surgeon performing this procedure needs to know what he/she is looking for in fact: The incidence of endometriosis diagnosis is due to the curiosity of the surgeon and pathologist examining the biopsy.
