The purpose of World Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Day is to globally raise awareness about IBD conditions like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, offer support and understanding to those affected, and advocate for research into better treatments and ultimately, a cure for these chronic digestive tract disorders.
