Technical Assistant

The Technical Assistant will support OSD packing operations, blister packing, bottle primary packing, equipment handling, batch documentation, line clearance, material verification, and GMP compliance at Zydus Lifesciences, Ahmedabad. This requires ITI, Diploma, or B.Sc qualification with 3–8 years of experience in Packing OSD operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support OSD packing activities including blister packing, bottle packing, labeling, and primary packing operations.
• Operate or assist in handling blister packing machines, bottle packing lines, and related packing equipment.
• Verify packing materials, product details, batch number, label details, and line clearance before packing activity.
• Maintain batch packing records, equipment logs, cleaning records, and line documentation accurately.
• Monitor packing quality, sealing, coding, labeling, bottle filling, and visual inspection parameters.
• Report machine issues, packing defects, material mismatch, or process deviations to seniors promptly.
• Coordinate with production, QA, QC, warehouse, engineering, and packing team members.
• Follow GMP, GDP, safety, hygiene, and data integrity requirements during all packing activities.
• Support cleaning, area readiness, material reconciliation, and equipment changeover activities.
• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and safe working practices in the packing area.
• Ensure smooth, compliant, and quality-focused OSD packing support.
• Support timely completion of production packing targets as per approved SOPs.
