Sr. Manager, Solution Engineering

The Sr. Manager, Solution Engineering will be responsible for leading the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) infrastructure, including platforms such as COMET and AMPS. The involves close collaboration with global architecture teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration, high availability, and regulatory compliance. The candidate will also focus on continuous improvement, system optimization, and building a robust, future-ready infrastructure ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design, build, and validation of COMET and AMPS on-premise infrastructure.
• Manage servers, databases, networks, virtualization, storage, backup, monitoring, and observability systems.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and data protection standards.
• Define system sizing, capacity planning, and performance monitoring strategies.
• Lead MES deployments, site rollouts, and cutover activities with global teams.
• Oversee installation, configuration, environment setup, and system qualification.
• Ensure execution of system upgrades, patches, and releases with validation and regression testing.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes for system stability.
• Collaborate with L4 support, vendors, and SRE teams for issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Develop lifecycle management strategies for infrastructure modernization and risk mitigation.
• Work with product managers to define short-term and long-term solution engineering roadmaps.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for seamless execution of projects.
• entify opportunities to improve system performance, reduce downtime, and enhance efficiency.
• Contribute to global infrastructure templates, playbooks, and standardization initiatives.
• Drive automation and process optimization in deployment and operations.
• Mentor and guide technical teams, building expertise in MES infrastructure and operations.
• Ensure knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous learning within the team.
• Support digital transformation initiatives aligned with business and manufacturing goals.
