Job Description
The Production Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities as per schedules.
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.
- Supervise manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Coordinate with QA and QC teams to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Monitor production output and optimize efficiency to meet targets.
- Handle and manage production documentation including batch records and logs.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Manage deviations, incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area.
- Coordinate with supply chain and inventory teams for material availability.
- Ensure timely completion of production batches and delivery schedules.
- Train and guide production staff on SOPs and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare production reports for management.
- Participate in audits and ensure audit readiness.
- Monitor and control wastage and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations.
- Stay updated with advancements in pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Maintain discipline and efficiency within the production team.
- Contribute to achieving organizational production and business goals.
