Quality Control Officer

The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet regulatory and company standards. This requires strong technical knowledge, precision, and adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and GMP guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Conduct chemical, physical, and instrumental testing as per specifications.
• Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, and other lab equipment.
• Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, and regulatory standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records and test reports.
• Perform calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Review and verify analytical data for accuracy and reliability.
• Handle out-of-specification (OOS) results and conduct investigations.
• Maintain proper documentation as per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper sampling, labeling, and storage of materials.
• Participate in method validation, verification, and transfer activities.
• Monitor stability studies and maintain stability data records.
• Coordinate with QA and production teams for quality-related issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the laboratory environment.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Support internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality protocols.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory reagents and consumables.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with documentation practices.
• Stay updated with advancements in analytical techniques and technologies.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
