Visiting Consultant is responsible for providing specialty medical consultation, patient evaluation, clinical guidance, and treatment support as per scheduled visits. The requires relevant medical qualification with 1 to 5 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of internal medicine, rheumatology, drug safety, patient care, medical writing, and clinical documentation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide specialty consultations as per hospital visit schedule.
- Evaluate patients and recommend suitable treatment plans.
- Review patient history, clinical findings, and investigation reports.
- Coordinate with resident doctors and nursing teams for patient care.
- Guide treatment planning for OPD and admitted patients.
- Maintain accurate consultation notes and medical documentation.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis and care plan.
- Support follow-up care and referral decisions when required.
- Assist in complex case discussions and clinical decision-making.
- Ensure prescribed treatment follows safe and ethical medical practice.
