Billing Executive

Billing Executive is responsible for managing hospital billing operations, patient billing, cash handling, insurance billing, TPA coordination, documentation, and front desk billing support. The requires good knowledge of hospital billing processes, patient service coordination, payment handling, and billing software. Candidates should have any graduate qualification, preferably B.Com, with 2 to 3 years of experience in billing or hospital accounts operations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare OPD, IPD, procedure, pharmacy, and hospital service bills.
• Verify patient details, service charges, and billing entries before final billing.
• Handle patient billing queries politely and professionally.
• Manage cash, card, online, and other payment transactions.
• Coordinate with insurance and TPA teams for billing-related documentation.
• Maintain accurate billing records, receipts, invoices, and payment details.
• Support admission, discharge, and final bill preparation processes.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, pharmacy, lab, and administration teams.
• Ensure all billable services are entered correctly in the hospital system.
• Handle refunds, advances, dues, and payment follow-ups as per policy.
• Maintain daily cash collection and billing reports.
• Follow hospital billing rules, discounts, and approval processes.
• Support front desk coordination when required.
