OT Technician

The OT Technician will support ophthalmic OT preparation, surgical instruments, phaco equipment, sterile workflow, patient positioning, and procedure documentation at ASG Eye Hospital, Pune. This requires Diploma in OT Technology with 2–5 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare OT room, surgical instruments, sterile sets, and ophthalmic consumables.
• Check microscope, phaco machine, suction, oxygen, OT lights, and emergency equipment.
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff during eye surgeries.
• Support patient shifting, positioning, draping, and OT readiness.
• Follow aseptic technique, sterile field maintenance, and infection control practices.
• Coordinate with CSSD, biomedical, nursing, housekeeping, and stores teams.
• Maintain OT records, equipment checklists, and material usage documentation.
• Support smooth, safe, and sterile ophthalmic surgical services.
