Medical Oncologist

Shaleen Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Oncologist to provide comprehensive cancer care and lead treatment planning for oncology patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing various types of cancers through advanced medical therapies while ensuring a patient-centered approach.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Diagnose and evaluate patients with suspected or confirmed cancer using clinical assessments and diagnostic investigations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care
• Monitor patient progress, treatment response, and manage side effects or complications
• Collaborate with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other specialists for multidisciplinary cancer care
• Prescribe medications and adjust treatment protocols based on patient condition and clinical outcomes
• Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and supportive care
• Ensure safe administration and monitoring of oncology treatments in compliance with protocols
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, treatment plans, and follow-up documentation
• Participate in tumor boards, case discussions, and clinical decision-making processes
• Stay updated with advancements in oncology treatments, clinical guidelines, and research
• Support quality initiatives, audits, and adherence to clinical and safety standards
