Medical Officer

Shaleen Cancer Center is seeking a dedicated and competent Medical Officer to provide comprehensive clinical care and support oncology services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for patient assessment, treatment coordination, and assisting senior doctors in delivering high-quality medical care to patients.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient assessments, clinical examinations, and medical history evaluations
• Diagnose and manage common medical conditions and support oncology-related treatments
• Assist consultants and oncologists in patient care, procedures, and treatment planning
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress under supervision
• Manage inpatient and outpatient care, including admissions, discharges, and follow-ups
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care when required
• Coordinate with nursing staff, technicians, and other departments for effective patient management
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, case sheets, and documentation
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical medical practices
• Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and continuous medical education activities
