Nursing Incharge

The Nursing Incharge will supervise nursing operations, patient care quality, staff coordination, duty allocation, documentation, infection control, and clinical workflow at Central United Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 5–6 years of nursing experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily nursing activities across assigned wards, ICU, emergency, or clinical areas.
• Allocate nursing duties, monitor staff attendance, and ensure proper shift handover.
• Guide staff nurses on patient care, medication safety, documentation, and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient care quality, vital records, nursing notes, medication charts, and treatment follow-up.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing team, pharmacy, laboratory, billing, radiology, and administration.
• Ensure infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, biomedical waste, and patient safety standards are followed.
• Handle patient and attendant queries related to nursing care and escalate concerns when required.
• Support admission, discharge, transfer, emergency care, and patient movement coordination.
• Maintain nursing records, duty rosters, incident reports, stock records, and department documentation.
• Train junior nurses on hospital SOPs, patient communication, and clinical care standards.
• Report staff issues, patient deterioration, documentation gaps, or operational delays to management.
• Ensure safe, disciplined, compassionate, and quality-focused nursing services.
