Staff Nurse - ICU

The Staff Nurse - ICU will provide critical care nursing, patient monitoring, medication administration, ventilator and oxygen support assistance, emergency response, documentation, and compassionate patient care at EPIC Multispeciality Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 1–2 years of ICU nursing experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, ECG, intake-output, pain score, and patient condition.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and prescribed ICU nursing care safely.
• Assist doctors during ICU rounds, emergency procedures, dressing, resuscitation, and critical care activities.
• Maintain ICU charts, nursing notes, medication records, intake-output records, and handover documentation.
• Support ventilator care, oxygen therapy, suctioning, catheter care, and patient positioning under guidance.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, isolation, and biomedical waste management protocols.
• Report abnormal vitals, patient deterioration, critical lab values, or clinical changes immediately.
• Coordinate with doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and patient care teams.
• Support admission, transfer, discharge, shifting, and emergency patient movement activities.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Deliver safe, alert, ethical, and compassionate ICU nursing care.
