Officer, Raw Materials

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Officer – Raw Materials to manage warehouse operations related to raw and packaging materials while ensuring compliance with cGMP and internal quality standards. The involves handling receipt, storage, dispensing, and documentation of materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring proper system entries in ERP. The candidate will also support QMS activities, monitor warehouse conditions, and ensure proper handling of retest, expired, and rejected materials to maintain smooth and compliant warehouse operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle receipt, storage, and dispensing of raw materials and packaging materials as per approved SOPs.
• Ensure proper materialentification, segregation, and status labeling in the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate online documentation for all material transactions and warehouse activities.
• Perform ERP entries including GRN preparation, issue slips, stock transfers, and material debits as per work orders.
• Update system records for retest, expired, and rejected materials.
• Monitor and maintain raw and packaging material inventory as per company policies.
• Ensure FIFO/FEFO principles are followed during material issuance and storage.
• Record and verify warehouse logs including cleaning records, balance calibration, and verification records.
• Monitor and record temperature and humidity conditions in the warehouse.
• Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained as per material requirements.
• Prepare and manage QMS documentation such as SOPs, change control forms (CCF), and deviation reports.
• Support investigations related to deviations and discrepancies in warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP (Good Documentation Practices), and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, and production teams for smooth material flow and operations.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation of inventory.
• entify and report discrepancies, damages, or non-conformities in materials.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of expired and rejected materials as per procedures.
• Maintain audit readiness by ensuring accurate documentation and compliance at all times.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required records and information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in warehouse processes and inventory management systems.
