Manager, Project Accounting

Amneal Pharmaceuticals is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manager – Project Accounting to oversee financial planning, cost monitoring, and reporting for various projects while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial execution. The involves preparing budgets, tracking project expenditures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The Ideal candidate will ensure strong financial control, efficient invoicing, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with business objectives.
• Analyze budget variances and provide insights to improve financial performance.
• Monitor project costs and track expenditures to ensure proper allocation and cost control.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely updates of project accounts.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of project accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop financial reports and performance metrics.
• Provide regular financial updates and insights to support project decision-making.
• Manage end-to-end invoicing processes including billing, tracking, and collections.
• Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments from clients.
• Review and approve timesheets, expense reports, and project-related financial documents.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and complete documentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, tax, audit, accounts payable, and legal.
• Assist in financial risk assessment and implement mitigation strategies.
• entify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to financial controls and procedures.
• Support financial planning and analysis activities for ongoing and new projects.
