Retina Surgeon

Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital is seeking a qualified ophthalmologist specializing in retina to manage a wide range of retinal conditions through medical and surgical interventions. The involves performing advanced vitreoretinal procedures, conducting detailed patient evaluations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive eye care. The candidate will also contribute to continuous improvement in clinical practices and patient outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage retinal diseases such as retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and vitreous disorders
• Perform advanced vitreoretinal surgeries and procedures with precision and adherence to clinical protocols
• Conduct detailed pre-operative assessments and ensure effective post-operative care and follow-ups
• Provide patient consultations, explain treatment options, and guide patients through surgical and recovery processes
• Collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records, surgical documentation, and clinical reports
• Ensure compliance with hospital standards, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines
• Stay updated with advancements in retinal treatments, surgical techniques, and technologies
• Participate in clinical audits, training programs, and continuous medical education initiatives
