Medical Retina

Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital is seeking a qualified ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina to evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of retinal conditions using advanced non-surgical treatments. The involves detailed retinal examinations, treatment planning, and close collaboration with surgical teams when required. The candidate will also ensure accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement in patient outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, and other vitreoretinal disorders
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests including OCT, fundus photography, and fluorescein angiography
• Administer non-surgical treatments such as intravitreal injections, laser therapy, and medical management
• Conduct detailed patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide pre- and post-treatment care and monitor patient progress
• Educate patients about disease management, treatment options, and preventive care
• Collaborate with retina surgeons and other specialists for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation, and reports
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Stay updated with advancements in medical retina and participate in continuous medical education
