Psychological Counsellor

We are seeking a Psychological Counsellor to provide compassionate counselling and patient care support in a healthcare environment. The focuses on emotional wellbeing, adult counselling, patient guidance, and psychological support for individuals undergoing sensitive medical treatments.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional and psychological counselling to patients.
• Conduct counselling sessions for individuals, couples, and families when required.
• Support patients experiencing stress, anxiety, fear, or emotional discomfort.
• Help patients understand and cope with treatment-related emotional challenges.
• Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff for integrated patient care.
• Maintain counselling records, progress notes, and follow-up documentation.
• Offer patient care support through empathetic communication.
• Use counselling and clinical psychology methods ethically and professionally.
• Identify patients needing additional psychological intervention.
• Educate patients about emotional wellness and treatment preparedness.
• Support patient confidence, motivation, and treatment continuity.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and counselling discussions.
• Participate in patient support and awareness activities.
• Promote a positive and emotionally safe healthcare experience.
