We are hiring a Psychological Counsellor to support patients through professional counselling, emotional guidance, and clinical psychology-based support. The candidate should be able to handle sensitive patient conversations, provide structured counselling sessions, and coordinate with healthcare teams for patient well-being.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient counselling sessions in a professional and confidential manner.
- Provide emotional support to patients undergoing healthcare or fertility treatment.
- Assess psychological concerns such as stress, anxiety, fear, and emotional fatigue.
- Support patients and families with treatment acceptance and coping strategies.
- Coordinate with doctors and care teams for patient-specific counselling needs.
- Maintain accurate counselling documentation and follow-up notes.
- Guide patients through difficult emotional stages with empathy and patience.
- Apply counselling and clinical psychology principles in patient interactions.
- Help patients build confidence and reduce emotional resistance to treatment.
- Identify high-risk emotional cases and recommend further expert intervention.
- Conduct adult counselling and supportive therapy sessions when required.
- Promote positive patient experience through emotional care and communication.
- Maintain privacy, dignity, and ethical standards in every counselling session.
- Contribute to patient care programs and centre counselling activities.
