Duty Medical Officer

Kauvery Hospital is seeking a Duty Medical Officer to manage day-to-day patient care, handle emergencies, and support clinical operations within the hospital. The involves monitoring patient conditions, implementing treatment plans, and ensuring timely medical interventions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide round-the-clock medical care to inpatients and emergency cases
• Conduct patient assessments, history taking, and clinical examinations
• Implement treatment plans as advised by consultants
• Monitor patient progress and promptly report any changes
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care
• Assist in clinical procedures and coordinate with nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Participate in ward rounds and ensure execution of treatment orders
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and ethical practices
