Registrar - Anaesthesist

Kauvery Hospital is seeking a Registrar – Anaesthesist to provide clinical support in administering anesthesia and managing patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. The involves ensuring patient safety, monitoring vital parameters, and collaborating with surgical teams for effective outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and assess patient fitness for surgery
• Assist in administering general, regional, and local anesthesia
• Monitor patient vitals and anesthesia depth during surgical procedures
• Manage airway, ventilation, and hemodynamic stability intra-operatively
• Provide post-operative care including pain management and recovery monitoring
• Handle emergency situations and support critical care when required
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and clinical documentation
• Coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and OT staff for smooth procedure flow
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, anesthesia guidelines, and hospital policies
• Participate in clinical audits, training programs, and continuous medical education
