Job Description
The General Physician will manage general medicine patients, OPD and IPD consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical monitoring, emergency care support, and medical documentation at Trinity Multispeciality Hospitals, Hyderabad. This requires MBBS qualification with 2–5 years of clinical exposure and patient care experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with fever, diabetes, hypertension, infections, respiratory, cardiac, and systemic diseases.
- Conduct OPD consultations, ward rounds, emergency assessments, and inpatient follow-up.
- Take patient history, perform clinical examination, and plan appropriate investigations.
- Review vitals, lab reports, imaging, medication response, and patient progress.
- Prepare prescriptions, progress notes, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation.
- Coordinate with nursing, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, ICU, emergency, and specialty departments.
- Respond to emergency medicine cases and escalate critical patients when required.
- Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment, medicines, lifestyle, and follow-up.
- Follow hospital clinical protocols, infection control, patient safety, and ethical care standards.
- Participate in clinical discussions, audits, quality activities, and departmental coordination.
- Ensure timely diagnosis, safe treatment, and professional medical care delivery.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all patient records.
