Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse will provide nursing care, clinical monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and documentation support in hospital departments. This is suitable for GNM or B.Sc Nursing candidates, including freshers with proper clinical training. The candidate will ensure safe care delivery, accurate records, patient comfort, and coordination with doctors and hospital teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients as per nursing standards.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, treatment response, and patient comfort.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and prescribed nursing care.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, dressing, and emergency response.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, medication charts, and handover records.
• Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, transfer, and discharge.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, and biomedical waste guidelines.
• Educate patients and relatives on medication, diet, hygiene, and follow-up care.
• Report abnormal findings, complaints, or patient safety issues to seniors.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, lab, radiology, billing, and administration teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of nursing station and patient areas.
• Deliver compassionate and ethical nursing care.
