Staff Nurse - Nursing

The Staff Nurse will provide OPD, emergency medicine, medication administration, nursing care, and patient support services at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 0–8 years of experience in OPD, emergency medicine, administration, nursing, medication administration, and patient care.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in OPD, emergency, ward, or assigned patient care areas.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, oxygen saturation, pain level, and treatment response.
• Administer prescribed medicines, injections, IV fluids, dressings, and nursing interventions safely.
• Assist doctors during consultations, emergency procedures, clinical examinations, and patient reviews.
• Maintain medication charts, nursing records, OPD notes, emergency records, and handover documentation.
• Support emergency patient stabilization, triage assistance, and quick clinical coordination when required.
• Follow infection control, PPE, biomedical waste, patient safety, and medication safety practices.
• Coordinate with doctors, pharmacy, lab, radiology, billing, housekeeping, and patient support teams.
• Report abnormal vitals, emergency symptoms, medication reactions, or deterioration promptly.
• Guide patients and attendants regarding basic nursing instructions and hospital process.
• Maintain patient dignity, privacy, comfort, and confidentiality.
• Ensure safe, responsive, and patient-friendly nursing services.
