Pharmacist

Vijaya Hospital is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage the dispensing of medications and ensure safe, effective pharmaceutical care for patients. Roles and Responsibilities

• Review and accurately dispense medications as per doctors’ prescriptions
• Ensure proper labeling, dosage instructions, and patient guidance for all medications
• Maintain and manage pharmacy inventory, including stock levels, expiry checks, and storage conditions
• Monitor and control the use of drugs in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Provide information to patients and healthcare staff regarding drug usage, interactions, and side effects
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff to ensure appropriate medication therapy
• Maintain records of prescriptions, narcotics, and controlled substances as per legal requirements
