Home Care Nurse

Home Care Nurse is responsible for delivering home-based nursing care, supporting patient recovery, managing critical care needs, monitoring health conditions, and coordinating with doctors and family members. The requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 3 to 8 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of home care nursing, ICU support, patient care, and clinical documentation.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in home care settings.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen support, symptoms, and patient progress.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and prescribed care.
• Support ICU-level, post-surgical, elderly, and chronic patient care.
• Maintain accurate home care nursing records and daily care updates.
• Coordinate with doctors, coordinators, and family members.
• Report patient condition changes or emergency signs promptly.
• Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and comfort care.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols in the home environment.
• Manage medical devices and home care equipment responsibly.
• Educate family members about care instructions and warning signs.
• Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
• Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
