Manager - Indirect Taxation

Detail-oriented Manager – Indirect Taxation responsible for managing GST, indirect tax compliance, tax planning, audits, and regulatory reporting activities. Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end indirect taxation compliance including GST and other applicable taxes.
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns, reconciliations, and statutory reports.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on business operations.
• Conduct indirect tax reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle tax assessments, notices, audits, and departmental inquiries efficiently.
• Coordinate with finance, procurement, supply chain, and business teams on tax matters.
• Review vendor and customer transactions to ensure correct tax applicability and documentation.
• Support tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency and minimize risks.
• Maintain accurate tax records, reconciliations, and compliance documentation.
• Provide advisory support on indirect tax implications for business transactions and contracts.
• Ensure proper input tax credit management and reconciliation processes.
• Collaborate with external consultants, auditors, and government authorities when required.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to strengthen tax compliance controls.
• Prepare MIS reports and taxation updates for senior management review.
• Lead and mentor team members on indirect taxation policies and compliance procedures.
