Job Description

Nursing Tutors - School of Nursing are responsible for teaching nursing students, conducting practical training, supporting clinical postings, maintaining academic records, and helping students develop professional nursing skills. The requires M.Sc Nursing or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 2 to 4 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of nursing education, clinical teaching, student mentoring, curriculum support, and academic documentation.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct classroom teaching for nursing students as per academic curriculum.
  • Guide students during clinical postings, demonstrations, and practical sessions.
  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and academic notes.
  • Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and clinical performance.
  • Support examinations, internal assessments, practical evaluations, and record maintenance.
  • Coordinate with hospital departments for student clinical exposure.
  • Teach nursing procedures, patient care standards, and professional ethics.
  • Mentor students in communication, discipline, and clinical confidence.
  • Maintain academic records, clinical logs, evaluation forms, and student files.
  • Support workshops, seminars, training sessions, and academic activities.
  • Ensure students follow hospital protocols during clinical training.
  • Assist principal and senior faculty in academic planning.
  • Promote evidence-based nursing practice and patient safety learning.
