Job Description
The Physiotherapists will be responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to restore movement and function. The involves working closely with doctors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient recovery and long-term wellness.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions, mobility, and functional limitations.
- Develop personalized physiotherapy treatment plans based on diagnosis.
- Provide therapy for musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical conditions.
- Use therapeutic techniques such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and electrotherapy.
- Assist patients in improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as required.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, posture, and injury prevention.
- Support rehabilitation of patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols during therapy sessions.
- Motivate patients to adhere to therapy programs and recovery plans.
- Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications for long-term health improvement.
- Participate in patient education programs and health awareness initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the physiotherapy unit.
- Handle multiple patients efficiently while maintaining quality care.
- Stay updated with latest physiotherapy techniques and advancements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the department or management.
