Store Incharge or Manager

Store Incharge / Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of materials, and maintaining accurate stock records. The involves supervising inward and outward material movement, monitoring stock levels, coordinating with vendors and departments, and ensuring efficient inventory control practices within the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage overall store operations including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock management.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.
• Supervise inward and outward movement of goods and verify stock transactions.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and systematic arrangement of inventory items.
• Conduct regular stock verification, physical inventory checks, and reconciliation activities.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and departmental teams regarding material requirements.
• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory items.
• Ensure timely preparation and forwarding of indents and purchase requests.
• Maintain records of stock consumption, shortages, damages, and returns.
• Monitor expiry dates of materials and ensure proper handling of expired or near-expiry items.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and MIS reports for management review.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material deliveries and stock-related issues.
• Supervise store staff and ensure efficient workflow management.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area.
• Handle documentation related to stock receipts, dispatches, and inventory records accurately.
• Identify opportunities for inventory optimization and cost control.
