Senior Staff Nurse

Senior Staff Nurse is responsible for providing advanced nursing care, supervising junior nursing staff, supporting ICU, MICU, PICU, pediatric, emergency, and ward nursing workflows. The requires B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualification with 4 to 8 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of critical care nursing, emergency care, patient monitoring, medication safety, nursing documentation, and team coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to critical, emergency, and admitted patients.
• Supervise junior nurses and support proper patient care delivery.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and clinical progress closely.
• Administer medicines, IV fluids, emergency drugs, and prescribed treatments safely.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergency interventions.
• Support ICU, MICU, PICU, pediatric, and emergency nursing activities.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient care records.
• Ensure proper shift handover and continuity of care.
• Follow infection control, biomedical waste, and patient safety protocols.
• Maintain ward or ICU supplies, emergency equipment, and nursing readiness.
• Guide patients and attendants with care-related instructions.
• Deliver disciplined, compassionate, and quality-focused nursing service.
