Job Description
Experienced Manager – CAPA Effectiveness responsible for overseeing corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs to ensure regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and operational excellence. Skilled in root cause analysis, deviation management, quality systems, and effectiveness monitoring within regulated environments. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen quality processes, and ensure timely closure and sustainability of CAPA actions aligned with organizational and regulatory standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage CAPA effectiveness programs across quality and operational functions.
- Review and monitor corrective and preventive action plans for compliance and effectiveness.
- Conduct root cause analysis investigations for deviations, non-conformances, and quality issues.
- Ensure timely implementation, tracking, and closure of CAPA activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory, and engineering teams on quality improvements.
- Evaluate CAPA trends and identify recurring issues for process enhancement initiatives.
- Support internal and external audits related to quality systems and CAPA compliance.
- Develop and maintain CAPA procedures, documentation, and reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, GMP standards, and quality management systems.
- Conduct effectiveness checks to validate sustainability of implemented corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to teams on CAPA processes and quality standards.
- Prepare periodic quality metrics, dashboards, and management review reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen operational and quality performance.
- Coordinate risk assessments and preventive action strategies to minimize quality failures.
- Mentor team members and promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and quality excellence.
