Experienced Manager – Packaging & Device Development responsible for leading packaging innovation, medical device integration, and product development activities for pharmaceutical or healthcare products. Skilled in packaging design, material evaluation, device compatibility, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle management. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective, compliant, and user-friendly packaging and device solutions that ensure product safety, quality, operational efficiency, and market readiness.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead packaging and device development projects from concept to commercialization.
- Develop innovative, compliant, and cost-effective packaging solutions for products.
- Evaluate packaging materials, components, and medical devices for compatibility and performance.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory teams during product development.
- Ensure packaging and device designs comply with regulatory and quality standards.
- Conduct packaging validation, stability studies, and transit testing activities.
- Manage artwork development, labeling compliance, and packaging specifications.
- Support technology transfer and scale-up activities for commercial manufacturing.
- Identify opportunities for packaging optimization, sustainability, and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and packaging development partners.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
- Investigate packaging or device-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain technical documentation, development reports, and change control records.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to packaging and device performance.
- Mentor and guide team members on packaging technologies, processes, and compliance requirements.
