CT/MRI Technician

Job Description:

GCS Medical College Hospital & Research Centre is seeking a CT/MRI Technician to join their dynamic team and support advanced diagnostic imaging services. The involves performing high-quality scans, ensuring patient safety, and assisting clinicians with accurate imaging results for effective diagnosis.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures as per medical protocols
• Prepare and position patients appropriately while ensuring comfort and safety during scans
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns prior to imaging
• Ensure optimal image quality and assist in preliminary review for accuracy
• Maintain detailed records of patient information, scan parameters, and imaging results
• Follow radiation safety and MRI safety guidelines at all times
• Coordinate with radiologists and medical staff for timely reporting and diagnosis
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any technical issues for maintenance
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and quality standards
• Stay updated with advancements in imaging technology and best practices
