Dialysis technician

Job Description:

GCS Medical College Hospital & Research Centre is seeking a Dialysis Technician to join their dynamic team and support renal care services. The involves operating dialysis equipment, monitoring patients during procedures, and ensuring safe and effective dialysis treatment in coordination with the medical team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate dialysis machines for hemodialysis procedures
• Monitor patients’ vital signs before, during, and after dialysis sessions
• Ensure proper setup and sterilization of dialysis equipment and consumables
• Assist in vascular access care and maintain infection control standards
• Observe patients for any complications during dialysis and report abnormalities immediately
• Maintain accurate records of treatment parameters and patient responses
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and hospital policies during procedures
• Coordinate with nephrologists and nursing staff for patient care management
• Manage inventory of dialysis supplies and ensure timely availability
• Perform routine maintenance checks of dialysis machines and report issues
