Executive - Purchase

Job Description

Intas Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Executive – Purchase to join their dynamic team and manage procurement operations for raw materials and services. The involves vendor management, sourcing, negotiation, and ensuring timely procurement while maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement activities for raw materials (including excipients) for domestic and regulatory markets
• Work with various international trade terms such as EXW, CIF, FOB, CIP, and DAP
• Develop and maintain a strong vendor base includingentification and onboarding of new suppliers
• Prepare and manage RFP/RFQ processes for sourcing materials and services
• Evaluate, qualify, and finalize vendors based on technical and commercial criteria
• Lead commercial negotiations to achieve cost efficiency and favorable terms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless procurement operations
• Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders in SAP as per requirements
• Track PR to PO conversion and monitor delivery timelines through MIS reporting
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely dispatch and maintain long-term supply planning
• Manage inventory support activities and coordinate in case of material shortages or delays
• Handle material rejection cases and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams
• Maintain approved vendor list and rate contracts with updated terms and conditions
• Address invoice-related queries in coordination with vendors and internal departments
• Drive cost-saving initiatives and maintain monthly savings reports
