Export Import (EXIM) - Officer

The Export Import (EXIM) Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end export and import activities including documentation, shipment coordination, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance. The involves working closely with logistics partners, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal departments to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods across international markets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handle export and import documentation including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and certificates.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), and logistics providers.
• Manage shipment planning, scheduling, and tracking to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
• Prepare and verify documents such as Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, COO, and other export-import documents.
• Liaise with customs authorities for clearance of goods and resolve any related issues.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as sales, warehouse, and finance for smooth operations.
• Monitor and manage export-import costs and optimize logistics expenses.
• Handle LC (Letter of Credit) documentation and banking procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all EXIM transactions and documentation.
• Track shipment status and update stakeholders on progress and delays.
• Ensure proper compliance with DGFT and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage returns, re-imports, and shipment discrepancies if any.
• Assist in audits and ensure documentation is maintained as per compliance standards.
