ICU Nursing Staff

Matis Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated ICU Nursing Staff to provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate will monitor patient conditions, assist in advanced medical procedures, and collaborate with doctors and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality critical care.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor critically ill patients’ vital signs, medical conditions, and responses to treatments continuously
• Administer medications, intravenous therapy, and other prescribed treatments accurately and timely
• Assist doctors with ICU procedures, interventions, and emergency care
• Operate, monitor, and maintain specialized ICU equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and escalate issues to senior medical staff when necessary
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, charts, and reports for ongoing care evaluation
• Ensure adherence to strict infection control, hygiene, and safety protocols within the ICU
• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during critical situations
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physiotherapists, and dietitians, for comprehensive patient care
• Participate in ICU rounds, case discussions, and continuous professional development programs
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior nursing staff within the ICU
