Public Relation Officer

Matis Hospital is seeking a proactive and patient-focused Public Relations Officer to ensure seamless communication between patients, hospital staff, and management while maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction. Theeal candidate will coordinate departmental activities, address patient feedback, and contribute to service quality improvements across the hospital.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the smooth functioning of departmental activities within the hospital
• Monitor patient concerns and complaints in both IPD and OPD through feedback forms,ect interactions, and follow-ups
• Track and report pending issues to department heads and escalate critical matters to senior management
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented for service deficiencies and prepare periodic analysis reports
• Facilitate inter-departmental coordination to address patient complaints effectively
• Send appreciation notes and acknowledge staff contributions based on patient feedback
• Respond to patient queries and feedback in a timely and professional manner
• Assist patients and their attendants during critical situations such as code blue alerts or medical emergencies
• entify staff requiring behavioral training or grooming and communicate with HR for necessary interventions
• Follow up persistently to achieve high patient satisfaction and provide psychological support to patients and attendants during hospitalization
• Perform night manager duties as scheduled, including patient rounds and staff supervision
• Participate in hospital quality initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement programs
• Support data collection and reporting for patient satisfaction, departmental performance, and service audits
• Adhere strictly to patient and staff safety protocols and hospital safety norms
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by superiors to support hospital operations
