Ward Nursing Staff

Matis Hospital is seeking a compassionate and diligent Ward Nursing Staff to provideect patient care and support in hospital wards. The ideal candidate will ensure patient comfort, monitor health conditions, and assist doctors and senior nurses in delivering high-quality medical care.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status regularly
• Assist patients with daily activities including hygiene, feeding, mobility, and comfort
• Administer prescribed medications, injections, and treatments under supervision
• Support doctors and senior nurses during examinations, procedures, and ward rounds
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Ensure infection control practices, hygiene, and safety standards are strictly followed
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, escalating issues to senior staff as necessary
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
• Assist in the preparation and organization of the ward, including cleaning, equipment arrangement, and supply management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
• Participate in training, audits, and continuous professional development programs
