IPD Billing Executive

Job Description:

Apex Heart Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible IPD Billing Executive to manage inpatient billing operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate bills, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring a smooth and transparent billing process in line with hospital policies and insurance requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete IPD billing cycle from admission to discharge
• Prepare and generate accurate inpatient bills based on services provided
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for timely service updates
• Ensure proper charge entry and documentation in Hospital Information System (HIS)
• Verify insurance details, TPA approvals, and billing guidelines
• Handle cash, card, and insurance billing transactions
• Address and resolve billing discrepancies and patient queries
• Maintain billing records, daily reports, and reconciliations
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Provide clear billing explanations to patients and attendants at discharge
