OT Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible and efficient OT Assistant to support the operation theatre team. The involves preparing OT equipment, assisting staff during procedures, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. The candidate should have completed an OT Assistant course or have relevant experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare OT and surgical instruments before operations
• Assist OT staff and nurses during surgical procedures
• Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of OT equipment
• Help with patient positioning and preparation for surgery
• Maintain OT hygiene and infection control standards
• Transport surgical instruments and supplies as needed
• Monitor OT supplies and report shortages
• Support smooth workflow in the operation theatre
• Maintain basic records of OT activities and procedures
