Speech Therapist

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage patients with neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injury, and Parkinson’s disease.
• Conduct swallowing (dysphagia) assessments and provide appropriate therapy.
• Work with pediatric patients for developmental speech and language issues.
• Collaborate with doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patient progress and modify therapy plans accordingly.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home care exercises.
• Use specialized tools and techniques for speech and language rehabilitation.
