AC Technician

The AC Technician will maintain air-conditioning systems, HVAC units, cooling equipment, repair work, preventive maintenance, and facility support at HCG Cancer Centre, Bangalore. This requires Diploma or ITI in AC Technician with 2–5 years of AC or HVAC maintenance experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair AC units, HVAC systems, chillers, ducts, and cooling equipment.
• Attend AC and cooling complaints from wards, ICU, OT, OPD, office, and patient care areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance, filter cleaning, gas checking, coil cleaning, and routine servicing.
• Check cooling performance, leakage, noise, electrical connection, and airflow issues.
• Coordinate with maintenance, biomedical, housekeeping, administration, vendors, and nursing teams.
• Maintain complaint registers, PM checklists, service logs, and material usage records.
• Report major breakdowns, spare requirements, gas leakage, or unsafe conditions to seniors.
• Ensure AC maintenance work is completed safely without disturbing patient care areas.
• Maintain tools, spare parts, ladders, gauges, and work area cleanliness.
• Follow electrical safety, PPE, fire safety, infection control, and hospital maintenance SOPs.
• Support emergency cooling breakdowns and urgent maintenance requirements.
• Ensure reliable, safe, and comfortable cooling support across hospital areas.
