Job Description
The Stores and Purchase - Senior Executive will manage hospital stores, procurement coordination, vendor follow-up, purchase documentation, inventory control, stock verification, and material issue workflow at HCG Cancer Centre, Bangalore. This requires any graduation qualification with 2–5 years of stores or purchase experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage purchase coordination and store operations for hospital materials, consumables, equipment, and supplies.
- Receive, verify, and arrange materials as per purchase order, invoice, quantity, quality, and item details.
- Maintain purchase records, stock registers, inward-outward entries, issue slips, and inventory documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors, purchase team, accounts, pharmacy, nursing, housekeeping, maintenance, and administration.
- Monitor stock levels, fast-moving items, low stock, expiry items, damaged items, and reorder requirements.
- Issue materials to departments as per approved requests and store process.
- Support quotation follow-up, vendor coordination, purchase order tracking, and delivery follow-up.
- Conduct physical stock verification, inventory reconciliation, and audit documentation.
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, cleanliness, and material traceability in store areas.
- Report shortages, excess stock, invoice mismatch, or vendor issues to seniors promptly.
- Ensure cost-conscious purchasing, timely material availability, and proper documentation.
- Support smooth, organized, and compliant stores and purchase operations.
