Senior Staff Nurse is responsible for providing advanced nursing care, supervising nursing activities, supporting critical care and emergency workflows, and ensuring quality patient care. The requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 1 to 4 years of experience. Candidates should have strong knowledge of critical care nursing, ICU care, emergency support, cardiac nursing, patient monitoring, and team coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to critical care, ICU, emergency, and ward patients.
- Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and treatment response closely.
- Administer medicines, IV fluids, injections, and prescribed treatments.
- Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and emergency interventions.
- Supervise junior nursing staff and support proper patient care delivery.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and medication records.
- Ensure proper shift handover and continuity of nursing care.
- Support cardiac nursing and emergency patient management.
- Follow infection control, hygiene, and patient safety protocols.
- Maintain ward equipment, emergency supplies, and nursing readiness.
- Report critical patient changes to doctors immediately.
- Educate patients and attendants about care instructions.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and support teams.
- Follow hospital nursing policies and quality standards.
- Deliver compassionate, disciplined, and patient-focused nursing care.
