OT Technician

The OT Technician will be responsible for assisting consultants and doctors during surgical procedures, preparing operation theatre equipment, and ensuring all necessary instruments and supplies are available. The also involves maintaining cleanliness, handling instruments safely, and supporting patient movement within the OT.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and consultants during surgical procedures.
• Support doctors in initiating IV drips and managing essential OT requirements.
• Ensure the anaesthesia trolley is fully equipped with required instruments, drugs, and supplies.
• Assist in safe transfer of patients between OT table, trolley, and recovery room.
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments, endotracheal tubes, and related equipment as per protocols.
• Follow universal safety precautions while handling used and contaminated instruments.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the operation theatre at all times.
